VoltVerified is a California-founded 501(c)(3) nonprofit advancing law enforcement-led eBike safety education.
Built on decades of experience in traffic safety, emergency vehicle operations, rider instruction, and community engagement, VoltVerified develops structured programs that help agencies, schools, parents, and riders address the growing challenges associated with eBike use.
California remains the foundation of our work and the home of our California POST-certified instructor course. As interest grows beyond the state, VoltVerified is working toward a scalable model that can be adapted to the laws, agencies, and community needs of additional states.
eBike use is expanding faster than access to meaningful rider education. Too many riders begin operating without formal instruction in braking, hazard recognition, traffic awareness, equipment limitations, or lawful riding.

VoltVerified’s curriculum is influenced by law-enforcement Emergency Vehicle Operations principles, real-world collision trends, applicable laws, and data-driven safety practices. It combines focused classroom education on the behaviors most associated with serious crashes with practical, hands-on skills training and objective rider assessment.
VoltVerified-certified instructors use a standardized model that can be adapted to local laws, collision patterns, schools, and community needs—creating consistency without losing local relevance.
