VoltVerified is a California-founded 501(c)(3) nonprofit advancing law enforcement-led eBike safety education.
Built on decades of experience in traffic safety, emergency vehicle operations, rider instruction, and community engagement, VoltVerified develops structured programs that help agencies, schools, parents, and riders address the growing challenges associated with eBike use.
California remains the foundation of our work and the home of our California POST-certified instructor course. As interest grows beyond the state, VoltVerified is working toward a scalable model that can be adapted to the laws, agencies, and community needs of additional states.
Communities throughout the country are experiencing increased eBike use among youth and adult riders. Many riders begin operating these devices without formal instruction in braking, hazard recognition, traffic awareness, device limitations, or lawful operation.
VoltVerified addresses that gap through practical education, hands-on rider development, and law enforcement instructor training.
VoltVerified’s curriculum is grounded in law enforcement Emergency Vehicle Operations training, real-world collision trends, and data-driven safety insights. Our dual approach combines focused education on high-risk riding behaviors with practical, hands-on skills development. Through VoltVerified-certified law enforcement instructors and local community partnerships, the program provides a consistent and scalable model that agencies, schools, and communities can implement locally.
